Tata Steel commissions country’s largest blast furnace at Kalinganagar
Tata Steel has commissioned India's largest blast furnace at its Kalinganagar plant, boosting its steel production capacity from 3 million tonnes to 8 million tonnes annually. The company has invested Rs 27,000 crore in this expansion and plans further growth. Tata Steel aims to reach a production capacity of 40 million tonnes by 2030.
