Review: The Six:: BoardGameAddict UK - Review
The Six is a family friendly card game with one simple aim – end your turn with six cards of the same colour in your hand!
During the game you will be drawing cards, planning which to keep and which set to work towards and using the all important action cards (which will form the basis of the game) to both help you achieve your goals and hinder your opponents. It’s a game that really shines at the higher player counts as you can really bring out your mean side and steal opponents cards at the most opportune time etc.
My little one is 5 (although a tad advanced in gaming) and that 5-8 bracket is the ideal scope for this game as although the action cards do control the way to the game will evolve, its still largely a luck based title and everyone has the chance to win.
The cards are well produced with some nice appealing illustrations. The game is a 30 second teach and whizzes by at a quick pace. We have found it to be a great game to play at the start of a game night and will play it many more times to come.
Simple and mean family fun!
