First of all, thank you Gabe, for this wonderful series of solo games you've been steadily offering. I've gotten 3 so far (2 delivered) and the quality, creativity and compact delivery, has been great. Great value and I can imagine, quiet a lot of work!

My quick take on this game is that it's been fun, thematic, and interesting. The only knock i have is that I've found it a bit easy so far, but I may be getting some rules wrong. The first game I played, I built up a pretty big Japanese army for the final scenario, but my plays after that, I've managed it better and have been successful. I will likely add a few more random soldiers into the first few scenarios to make it harder, but the difficulty won't keep me from playing. The art, the mechanics, the theme all just work so well together; this is just really fun to play. Each enemy attacks in a thematic way and every turn your decisions feel like battlefield commands. Even the little flag pole round marker hits well; I just really appreciate all the thought that went into everything for this game. The old Sgt. Rock art as well, is just really something. Like I had no idea anyone else drew like that anymore!

Pretty sparse review here but just wanted to shout out to Gabe that it's been an A+ experience.
