The DailyFaceoff DFS Charts, once a premium resource, are now fully available for free! Updated daily from Monday to Saturday, the charts typically become accessible after all NHL lineups are confirmed around 3:00 PM ET. This season, we offer two distinct versions: one tailored for DraftKings and another for FanDuel. While the underlying information remains consistent, the pricing structures between the two platforms vary. Daily updates mean you’ll need to grab new links from that day’s DFS Chart posts. The implied totals for each day’s games, part of the DFS Main Slate, indicate the number of goals teams are predicted to score based on sportsbook lines. Targeting players from teams with the highest implied totals can enhance your strategy. Matchups are derived from historical performance regarding how home teams deploy their lines at even strength 5v5. The Matchup Score reflects the difficulty of each matchup based on projected encounters and is scored from 1 to 100, where 100 signifies the most favorable conditions for offensive success. Line Stats display offensive and defensive metrics, with O-Score and D-Score merging these statistics into a simplified ranking. Higher O-Scores indicate a stronger offensive capability. Targeting lines with high offensive potential facing lower defensive scores, as illustrated in the Matchup Score, is key. For instance, TBL1 boasts the highest offensive rating and is set to face NYR2, rated the weakest defensively, suggesting a likely dominant performance. By evaluating each line’s anticipated Time on Ice (TOI), matchups, and statistical data, we compile a comprehensive 5v5 Score to identify lines with the greatest potential for offensive output. Additionally, Power-play projected goals (xG) are included to provide a holistic view of each line's expected contributions, complete with prices for individual players and full line-stack costs. Stat-driven projections for both forwards and defensemen rely on the latest line updates from DailyFaceoff.com, allowing us to refine forecasts for Goals, Assists, Shots on Goal (SOG), and Blocked Shots. For goalies, projections are derived from team metrics and sportsbook odds, detailing Implied Wins, Implied Goals Against, and Expected Saves.
