Hostinger – a leading global web hosting provider – has fully integrated its Indonesian branch, Niagahoster, into one unified brand. The move follows a technical migration last year and will see Niagahoster rebranded as Hostinger, combining its deep understanding of the local market with Hostinger’s world-class technology, resources, and commitment to innovation. The transition is designed to streamline communication with the company’s clients and deliver an even more powerful, reliable, user-friendly online experience for all Indonesian customers – from individuals and freelancers to small and medium-sized businesses.
Services enhanced by global innovation
“13 years ago, Niagahoster began as a small experiment – a way to see if building a web hosting business was even possible. It laid the foundation for what would later become Hostinger, a brand that now supports over 4 million website creators around the world. By joining forces with Niagahoster and creating a unified brand, we are bringing together everything we’ve learned from the Indonesian market with Hostinger’s passion for tech innovation”, says Daugirdas Jankus, CEO of Hostinger.
According to Jankus, this means faster, more reliable service and more helpful support, powered by advanced AI and backed by a dedicated team of people who will continue to serve complex customer needs. We believe this step will make a real difference for the next wave of Indonesian creators: curious young business owners, determined solopreneurs, and bold content makers.
Existing Niagahoster clients will experience no disruptions in their services during the transition. They will be seamlessly redirected to Hostinger. All of the company’s services will remain available in the Indonesian language, and the prices of service plans will stay the same. Under the Hostinger name, the local team will focus on the specific needs of customers in Indonesia.
Indonesia has long been central to Hostinger’s operations, and is one of the company’s biggest markets globally. Hostinger has an office in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with over 200 local team members, representing 20% of the company’s total headcount. Indonesia is a rapidly growing digital market, with 77% internet penetration and over 1.5 million new users joining the digital ecosystem annually, showing huge entrepreneurial potential that is still untapped.

More value to customers
The unification will allow for more efficient operations, resource allocation, and feedback collection. This focused approach, a key tenet of Hostinger’s strategy, means customer needs can be addressed more rapidly and effectively. Customers will also benefit from Hostinger’s advanced technology infrastructure, which is renowned for its speed, security, and reliability. This includes access to a wider range of cutting-edge products and features developed for a global audience.
As part of a single global brand, Indonesian customers will experience quicker access to new tools, updates, and AI-powered solutions that Hostinger is pioneering. Hostinger’s ability to test and ship new features, improvements, and products at high speed will now directly benefit the Indonesian market. Recent innovations include an AI-enhanced Website Builder, which allows anyone to create a unique online platform in just a few minutes with no IT knowledge required. As well as Hostinger Horizons – the easiest solution to start an online journey. This AI tool unlocks new possibilities by generating websites and web applications in just a few minutes from a text or voice prompt in real time.
As part of its ongoing mission to empower small businesses around the world, Hostinger launched the Hostinger Microgrants pilot project for the Indonesian market. This initiative will support five entrepreneurs or small businesses in the country with the resources they need to grow their digital presence. Each selected recipient will receive IDR 20,000,000 in funding, along with a package of Hostinger services worth an additional IDR 4,000,000.
