Kylie Kelce Reveals the Sweet Way Her Daughters Will Support Their Uncle Travis Kelce During the Super Bowl

Keeping on brand, Kylie Kelce dove right into a recent podcast episode and addressed the “elephant in the room.” The wife of retired NFL player Jason Kelce is not one to beat around the bush, and so she quickly broke down her Super Bowl dilemma. She famously grew up a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan, and her love for the birds predates her love for her husband who had been the center for the NFL team. So, she’s understandably excited to see Philly in the 2025 Super Bowl.

But. Her brother-in-law Travis Kelce is the star tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs.

“I am so happy and proud of Travis and the Chiefs’ accomplishments, the opportunity to play for such a historic milestone is incredible to be able to potentially witness,” she said, referencing the team’s chance for a “threepeat.” ” … [Travis] works so hard and puts in so much time that I am truly, as always, cheering Travis on, I love him, he’s my family.”

How very diplomatic! I don’t know if I could be that mature if I was in a similar situation.

“That being said,” Kylie continued, “I was raised to bleed green.”

And so what will Super Bowl Sunday look like for the soon-to-be mom of four?

“Ultimately, the plan is to go to the game and to cheer,” she said. “We have made moves to get the girls ‘Go Uncle Trav Shirts’ because they love their uncle.”

Aww! That will be so sweet if Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 2 are decked out in gear supporting #87. Because even if they love the birds, they love the infamous “Uncle Travvy” too.

And yet … the girls might say that they don’t want him to win. At least, that was the case in 2023 when Travis and Jason went head-to-head in the Super Bowl.

In Amazon Prime Video’s 2023 documentary, Kelce, Jason and Wyatt had an adorable (if a bit awkward) interaction after his Super Bowl loss.

“Dad, you didn’t win,” Wyatt said with a pacifier in her mouth. “… Uncle Travvy winned.”

“Did you want that to happen, Wyatt?” Kylie asked her eldest.

“I didn’t want Uncle Travvy to win,” she said adamantly.

And yet, Kylie has insisted time and again that “Uncle Trav/Travvy” is the “absolute best uncle you can imagine.” In Sept. 2023, she gushed about her supportive BIL and the way he only ever sits on the floor and plays with his nieces.

“Our oldest, she’s our boss. She’s our ring leader, and she just has demand after demand for him. And I’m like, ‘Trav, you know you can tell Wyatt no?’”

“He was like ‘Yeah, I don’t think I can.’ And so he will do it,” she continued. “She’ll be like, ‘Jump up and down.’ He’ll do it. ‘Roll on the floor,’ he’ll do it. ‘Be the pony.’ He’ll do it. So he’s all-in when it comes to being an uncle. He is the epitome of an uncle, just through and through.”

And if he’ll jump up and down, roll on the floor, and be the pony, we guess the very least his nieces can do is wear a supportive shirt on his big night.
