How you can connect Supabase to Hostinger Horizons
We prioritized this integration so you don’t have to prompt AI or follow complex setup instructions manually.
Start by building your web app with Hostinger Horizons, just like you’d normally do. When you have the basis and logic of your web app, connect Supabase to it. It only takes a few steps:
- Select the Supabase button at the top right of the Horizons dashboard and choose Add organization.

- Log in or create a Supabase account.
- Allow access to Hostinger Horizons.
- Connect your organization.
Once Supabase is connected, you can create databases, enable user logins, data uploads, and real-time collaboration.
Why Supabase?
Most web apps consist of two main parts:
- Frontend: What users see and interact with, including buttons, pages, and forms.
- Backend: The logic and storage behind the scenes, such as databases, user accounts, and real-time updates.
Supabase gives your project the backend capabilities:
- A database to store all your data with real-time updates.
- User authentication options (email, password, phone, social logins).
- Database backups, extensions, and file storage.
Supabase plans at a glance
Supabase offers a free plan that includes two active projects with up to 50,000 monthly active users, ideal for small web apps or for exploring its features.
If your web app exceeds the limits, it will enter a read-only mode, and some features will become unavailable. You can upgrade at any time to unlock additional storage, bandwidth, computing power, and data backups.
In short: if your web app doesn’t require much storage, or if it’s simply a passion project with a small user base, the free plan should be enough. As your app grows in size or activity, you may need to consider upgrading.
