First pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 accessories are here
Nintendo hasn’t confirmed the release date for the Switch 2 yet but some companies are already selling accessories.

The Switch 2 was officially unveiled last week with a hardware-focused first-look trailer. Details like release date and price have yet to be confirmed but Nintendo has announced a Switch 2 direct for April 2 – where more details about the console will presumably be revealed. After that, players will be able to get their hands on the console via a series of global Switch 2 hands-on experiences, with many fans expecting a full release this summer.
However, all that uncertainty hasn’t stopped one accessories manufacturer from announcing some new Switch 2 add-ons.
Earlier this week, Satisfye launched pre-orders for the ZenGrip 2 so players can be “ready” for the Switch 2. The gadget has reportedly been “made for the Nintendo Switch 2” and features an advanced floating design, full port accessibility and redesigned ergonomics. The ZenGrip2 is expected to ship in “spring 2025” and prices start at $49.99 (£40).

“It distributes the weight in your hands like a traditional console controller, enhancing your gaming endurance. Play longer, play harder, with unparalleled comfort,” reads the official description, but there’s nothing to say Satisfye have even seen the Switch 2 so some fans are wary.
“Pre-ordering a third-party accessory for an unreleased, barely unveiled product is unhinged,” wrote on fan on Reddit. “Can’t believe anyone would buy an accessory to make a console ‘more comfortable’ without even being able to hold it,” said another.
Earlier this year, another accessories manufacturer claimed to have seen the Switch 2 before it had been announced and leaked several details about the console while at tech showcase CES.
Before the Switch 2 hype really takes off, Nintendo is reportedly planning a Switch-focused Direct next month to reveal the last new titles for the console.
