Blackhawks Recall Landon Slaggert

The Blackhawks scratched Taylor Hall and Seth Jones only 30 minutes before their game on Friday night. On Sunday, they’re adding a body less than two hours before puck drop.

Landon Slaggert has been recalled from Rockford. In the wake of the Hall trade, the Blackhawks had 12 forwards on the NHL roster. They leave for a three-game road trip on Monday that takes them to Tampa, Carolina and Florida.

Slaggert, 22, has 25 points (10 goals, 15 assists) in 39 games with the IceHogs to start his first full professional season. He appeared in 16 games with the Blackhawks last year.
